PROCEDURES OF TEACHING
My final teaching demonstration began with a warm greeting to create a positive and welcoming classroom atmosphere, followed by an opening prayer to seek guidance for a meaningful and successful learning session. I then proceeded with my self-introduction to establish rapport and familiarity with the students before checking their attendance to ensure everyone’s participation.

To activate prior knowledge, I conducted a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by questioning to assess students’ understanding and encourage active participation. Before starting the lesson, I established classroom rules to promote discipline, safety, and cooperation throughout the activities.

After setting expectations, I presented the lesson objectives to guide students on what they were expected to learn and achieve. To capture their interest and connect the lesson to real-life application, I conducted an establishing purpose activity, followed by a video presentation that introduced the basketball circuit drills and enhanced students’ understanding of the lesson.

Before proceeding to the practical activities, I carefully discussed the procedures, instructions, and reminders to ensure students understood the flow of activities, safety precautions, and expectations. Students were then organized through the forming of groups, and each group submitted their list of members for proper monitoring and organization. I also presented the rubrics so learners would clearly understand the criteria for evaluating their performance.

After the classroom discussion, students formed a line going to the field in an orderly manner. Upon arriving, the class performed a warm-up exercise to prepare their bodies physically and prevent injuries. Students then engaged in practice sessions to familiarize themselves with the basketball circuit drills and improve their skills through guided participation.

Following the practice, students proceeded to the performance phase, where they applied the skills learned through the basketball circuit drill activities. After completing the performance, students participated in a cool-down exercise to help relax their muscles and gradually return their bodies to a resting state.

To conclude the lesson, students shared their insights during the reflection activity, allowing them to express what they learned and experienced. This was followed by feedbacking, where constructive comments and observations were shared to recognize strengths and identify areas for improvement. Students’ learning was then measured through an assessment to evaluate their understanding and skill performance. Finally, the session ended with announcements and the awarding of winners and prizes for the Basketball Circuit Drill Competitive Play, making the lesson more engaging, motivating, and memorable for the students.
